Crystal Facet LED Wall Light

A wall light earns its keep by what it does to the surface behind it, and a faceted body does that better than a plain one. The cut crystal panels here split the LED into overlapping planes of light, so the wall picks up a soft geometric spill above and below the fitting rather than a single flat pool. In a hallway or up a stairwell, a run of two or three gives rhythm to a wall that would otherwise be blank.

The fitting is slim enough to sit beside a bed without catching a shoulder, and at six watts it is an accent rather than a working light - use it alongside a lamp rather than instead of one. Seven colour options cover warm and cool white for everyday use, plus five saturated colours for anyone lighting an alcove, a bar or a media wall where a tint is the point.

This is a hardwired mains fitting. Have it installed by a qualified electrician, isolate the circuit before any work, and check for pipes and cables before drilling. Dust the facets with a dry brush rather than a wet cloth, which will leave marks on the cut surfaces. Fitted at roughly shoulder height, the spill above and below reads best against a plain wall.
