Engraved Crystal Shot Glass Set

Thin shot glasses feel cheap and tip over on a crowded table. These are the opposite: pressed with a deep faceted base that gives them real ballast, so they land with a satisfying weight and stay upright when someone reaches past. The cut pattern runs around the lower half of each glass and throws light in every direction, which is most of the pleasure of good barware.

Each glass holds sixty millilitres, the standard double measure, and the walls are tempered for durability rather than blown thin for show. The dimensions are compact at roughly five centimetres across the rim and six centimetres tall, so a set stacks neatly on a shelf or a drinks trolley without taking a whole run of space. Two engraved designs are offered, each with its own cut pattern, so you can pick the one that suits your other glassware.

They suit tequila and mezcal, but work equally well for whisky tasting measures, chilled vodka, limoncello after dinner, or serving small desserts and sauces at a dinner party. Hand wash in warm water to keep the cut faces bright, as dishwasher detergent will slowly etch the pattern flat.
