The Havo stands a full metre high, which lifts the light source above shrub and hedge level and spreads it further along a driveway or garden path. The 100 cm height was chosen for the approach to a house, where a shorter post tends to disappear behind planting by midsummer. The form is plain: a slim column in anthracite with an angled head at the top.
That head holds an integrated 17 W LED behind a wide diffuser panel, giving 2000 lumens at 3000 kelvin. The warm white tone suits render, brick and timber, and the downward tilt aims the beam at the ground so a path is lit without glare at eye level. Nothing needs buying separately, because the LED is built into the head. Aluminium construction brings the weight to 4.4 kg, enough to stand steady in wind.
An IP65 rating seals the fitting against dust and against water jets from any direction, and a bolt-down base plate fixes it to paving or a concrete foundation. Set a pair either side of a drive entrance, or space several along a longer approach. Because it bolts down rather than spikes in, plan the cable route and the fixing point before the posts go in.
