Heart Print Cotton Duvet Set

A four-piece set takes the guesswork out of making a bed: duvet cover, fitted sheet and two pillowcases all arrive matched, so nothing has to be co-ordinated afterwards. This one carries a small repeating heart print in the soft Korean style — closely spaced, low contrast and quiet enough to live with, rather than the large graphic hearts that date within a season.

The print reads as texture from across a room and only resolves into hearts close up, which is what makes it usable in an adult bedroom as well as a teenager's. It works particularly well with plain wooden furniture and a single strong accent colour elsewhere in the room. The fabric is a soft, closely woven cloth that is comfortable against skin straight out of the packet.

Three sizes are offered, converted to metric: 150 x 200cm for a double, 180 x 220cm for a king and 200 x 230cm for a super king. Each includes a fitted sheet sized to match, which is the part usually missing from cheaper sets. The whole set is machine washable and holds its colour well. It is not suitable for an infant sleeping space - current safer-sleep guidance advises against loose bedding in a cot for babies under twelve months.
