Moon Nursery Wall Light 20cm

A crescent moon cut in a soft, rounded profile and mounted flat to the wall, 20cm across, lit so the whole crescent glows rather than any one point of it. It is made from metal with a PE face, which keeps it light on the fixing and gives a matt, slightly chalky surface that reads well in a nursery rather than looking like a plastic novelty.

Five designs are offered, each pairing the crescent with a different small figure or detail, so the piece can be matched to the room it is going into rather than imposing a scheme on it. The light is deliberately low and warm, meant as something to leave on while a child falls asleep or as a gentle marker on a landing wall, not as the main light for the room.

Because it mounts on the wall there is no lamp on the bedside table and no flex running down to a socket, which is worth a good deal in a small child's room. Dust the face with a dry cloth once it has cooled. It runs on 220-240V mains and is hardwired, so installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, fitted well out of a child's reach.
