Perforated Glass Pendant Light

The whole point of this pendant is what it does to the wall, not just the table underneath it. The glass globe is pierced with a fine, regular pattern, so the bulb inside throws a scattered field of small bright points across the ceiling and surrounding walls. Lit, it behaves almost like a lantern; unlit, it is a clean metallic sphere that stays quiet in the room.

Two diameters are offered. The 15cm globe suits a bedside drop, a hallway, or a run of three over a kitchen island where you want repetition rather than bulk. The 20cm reads as a single statement piece and is the better choice hung alone over a dining table or in a stairwell where the pattern has room to travel.

Gold, rose gold and silver each change the character noticeably: gold warms the light, silver keeps it crisp and modern, rose gold sits between the two and works well against warm timber and pale plaster. The flex can be shortened at installation to set your drop height, and the fitting takes a standard bulb so you choose the brightness and colour temperature.
