Sela is a slim strip of warm white light in a black aluminium housing, made to sit flat against an exterior wall. Mounted on brickwork, render or timber, it turns a plain wall into a lit line, and the effect after dark is architectural rather than decorative. By day the housing is narrow and matt enough to read as a detail on the wall rather than as a fitting waiting to be switched on.
A frosted acrylic diffuser runs the full length of the body and spreads the integrated LED evenly, so the light comes out as one smooth line with no visible hotspots or dotting. The housing is sealed aluminium in a black finish, built for year round outdoor use through rain and frost. Six lengths are made, from 30 cm up to 150 cm, all in the same warm white output.
The shorter lengths suit a porch, a doorway or a balcony wall. The longer ones carry a patio wall or a facade run, and several can be repeated at even spacing along a wider elevation. The light source is integrated, so there is no bulb to change over its life. Installation is hardwired to a mains supply and should be carried out by a qualified electrician, with the fixings sealed against the wall.
