Silicone Dinosaur Night Light

A small dinosaur that sits on the bedside table and glows a soft, even amber once the big light goes off. The body is moulded from food-grade silicone, so it squashes gently in a small hand and stays cool however long it is left on. There are no hard edges, no exposed bulb and no glare, just a diffused pool of light that reaches far enough to find a water glass without waking anyone properly.

A single tap on the back cycles the brightness through three levels, and a longer press holds it at the dimmest setting for the whole night. It charges over USB, so there is no plug at the bedside and no batteries to replace, and a full charge carries it through several nights of ordinary use. Choose green, blue or yellow; the silicone is tinted right through rather than painted, so scuffs do not show.

It works as a reading light on a bunk, a landing light on a shelf, or simply as something friendly to hold on the walk to the bathroom. Wipe the surface with a barely damp cloth to clean. This is a lamp, not a toy, and it is not intended to be chewed or slept with.
