Super Soft Fleece Throw

A plain fleece throw in a dense anti-pill finish, offered in three sizes: a 40cm square that works as a lap or pram-side cover, a 70 by 100cm for a chair, and a 100 by 160cm that will cover a sofa seat or a single bed. Nine colours are available, running from soft neutrals through to a deep red and a dark brown.

Anti-pill matters more than the marketing usually makes clear. Ordinary fleece develops small bobbles across the surface within a few washes and never looks new again; a properly finished anti-pill fleece stays smooth for years of regular use. It is the single specification worth checking on any fleece throw, and the reason a cheaper one is rarely a saving.

This is a plain textile throw. It is not electric and not heated, and it contains no wiring or elements of any kind. Machine washable at 30 degrees and quick to dry. Do not use a fabric conditioner, which coats the fibres and flattens the pile; wash it with like colours and tumble dry on a cool setting only. Bought in the largest size it works as an extra layer on a bed through the coldest months without the weight of a second duvet.
