The Tamsi shapes a soft, petal-like disc around a single opal globe. The rim rises and falls in four gentle waves, so the fitting reads as a flower opening out of the ceiling rather than a flat plate. A white canopy sits close against the plaster, and the underside of each petal carries a warm wood-grain finish that picks up the light as it spreads out across the disc.

The moulded shade throws light sideways as well as downwards, which softens the shadows a flat panel tends to leave in a low-ceilinged room. Construction is metal and resin, and the fitting measures 28 cm across and only 10 cm deep. It is rated IP20 for indoor use and wired directly into the ceiling. The lampholder takes a G9 capsule bulb, so replacements are easy to find.

At that depth Tamsi works where a hanging pendant would crowd the space: hallways, landings, bedrooms and small dining areas all take it well, and the maker suggests a room of roughly 6 to 15 square metres. The IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms. The fitting is hardwired, so a qualified electrician should make the connection. Wipe the shade with a dry soft cloth.
