Tufted Plush Sofa Cover

Sofa covers usually announce themselves as covers. This one does not, because the fabric is worked with a tufted surface pattern that gives it the look of upholstery rather than a sheet thrown over a frame. The pile is dense and soft, the tufting catches light along the ridges, and the whole thing tucks in far enough at the back and sides to stay looking deliberate rather than draped.

Four colours are offered and all of them are muted: taupe for warm neutrals, amber wave for something a shade richer, moss for a green room, and ash dusk for a cooler grey scheme. The microfibre has enough stretch to pull tight across a seat and enough weight to hang properly over the front edge. It is also stain resistant, which is the actual reason most people buy a cover in the first place.

Four sizes run from one hundred and eighty by one hundred and thirty centimetres for an armchair or love seat, up to one hundred and eighty by two hundred and sixty for a large three or four seater. Measure across the back of your sofa before ordering. It machine washes at thirty degrees, which is what makes it practical in a house with children or pets, and it should be air dried rather than tumbled hot.
