Alphabet Letter Fleece Cushion

A soft cushion cut in the shape of a single letter, so a name, an initial or a short word can be built up across a bed, a shelf or a nursery wall. The letters are chunky rather than elegant, with rounded corners and thick strokes that hold their shape when the cushion is propped upright, and each one is finished in a muted colourway shown in the product photographs.

The face is a yarn dyed cotton fleece, which gives a slightly brushed surface and a colour that goes right through the yarn rather than sitting on top of it, and the filling is polyester. Each letter measures roughly thirty six by twenty eight centimetres, though the exact width varies with the shape of the character. Twenty two letters are available and every one costs the same.

The whole cushion is machine washable, which is the practical argument for it in a child's room; wash on a gentle cycle, reshape while damp and dry flat rather than tumbling. Keep it away from open fires, candles and radiators. It is a decorative cushion and not a toy, so do not leave it in a cot or with a sleeping child under three.
