AquaGrip Stainless Steel Shower Shelf

Small bathrooms rarely fail for want of space so much as for want of somewhere sensible to put things. The AquaGrip shelf answers that quietly: a slim stainless steel tray that carries shampoo, conditioner, soap and a razor at arm's reach of the shower, leaving the cistern and the bath edge clear. Brushed silver or matte black, it reads as a fitting rather than an accessory.

The frame is a single piece of rustproof stainless steel, so steam, splashes and daily soap residue leave it unmarked. Open slots run the length of the base to let water drain away instead of pooling under bottles, and a rail along the front edge takes a flannel, a loofah or a hand towel. A wipe with a damp cloth is the whole of the upkeep.

Fitting needs no drill and no tiles sacrificed. The adhesive mounting plate bonds to tile, glass or a sealed painted wall, and the shelf lifts off the plate for cleaning. Let the adhesive cure fully before loading the shelf, mount it on a smooth, dry, non-porous surface only, and keep the load within the stated limit. If you would rather fix it permanently, the plate also accepts screws, and the shelf can be repositioned later without leaving a mark on tiled walls.
