Artificial Moss Mat 100cm

A full square metre of artificial moss on a flexible backing, supplied as one continuous sheet at a hundred by a hundred centimetres and only three deep. Because it comes as a sheet rather than as pre-formed pieces, you cut it to whatever you need: a strip for a table runner, a disc for the base of a terrarium, panels for a shop window or a set dressing, small offcuts for craft and model work.

The pile is uneven by design, with the tufts sitting at different heights and densities the way real moss grows, which is what stops it reading as green carpet from a distance. Two shades are offered: a pure green for a fresh, spring look, and a coffee-speckled version with darker flecks running through it that looks more like moss that has been growing on something for a while.

It needs no light, no water and no feeding, which makes it useful in exactly the places real plants fail: a windowless hallway, a north-facing bathroom shelf, the base of a display case, an office reception. Cut it with sharp scissors or a craft knife from the back. Shake out dust or vacuum on a low setting through a mesh. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to limit fading.
