Artificial Pampas Grass Bundle

Real pampas grass sheds relentlessly and lasts a season if you are lucky. These are the artificial equivalent, five stems per bundle at a full hundred centimetres each, with the feathery plume properly built up rather than the thin, sparse version that gives cheap faux stems away. Set into a tall floor vase they fill a corner that has nothing in it and needs some height.

Six shades are offered across a natural range, from a straw-toned natural and a soft cream through blush, grey, taupe and champagne. Mixing two shades in one vase reads more convincingly than a single uniform colour, because real grasses never match each other exactly. The stems are flexible enough to be bent and fanned into an arrangement, and they will hold the shape you give them.

The obvious use is a large vase in a living room or hallway, but they are equally at home along a mantelpiece, in a bedroom corner, or used for event and wedding styling where fresh flowers would wilt over a long day. There is no watering, no pollen and no mess. Shake them out or blow them off gently to clean, and keep them out of prolonged direct sunlight, which fades the dye over time.
