Aurora Cube Night Light

A simple ABS cube eleven and a half centimetres square, lit from inside so the whole face glows rather than showing a point of light. It is the sort of object that works equally well on a child's shelf, a bedside table or a desk, and because it is a closed cube with no exposed bulb it stays cool to the touch and has nothing that can be knocked out of position.

Three versions are offered. The basic cube cycles through three colours; the sixteen-colour cube gives a much wider range and is the better choice if the colour itself is the appeal. The dice version sits on a small wooden base, which lifts it off the surface and makes it read as more of a decorative object than a plain night light. All three use the same internal lighting.

A remote control and a USB cable are both included, so the light can be adjusted from across a room and powered from a laptop, a power bank or a UK USB adapter. Brightness is adjustable as well as colour. Treat it as a lamp rather than a toy and keep it out of reach of very young children, and wipe the surface with a dry cloth only.
