Aztec Geometric Sofa Cover

The pattern here is drawn from South American weaving: stepped diamonds and banded triangles in terracotta, sand, charcoal and off-white, repeated at a large enough scale to hold a whole sofa rather than dissolving into texture. It is woven through the cloth, so the reverse shows the same design with the colours swapped and either side can face up.

The fabric is a firm cotton-blend flatweave — not a stretch cover and not quilted, but a proper woven cloth with enough body to hang in folds over an arm rather than clinging. Ends are finished with a short cut fringe. Because it lays over rather than fits, it works on a corner sofa, a daybed or a wide armchair, and it makes a good bed throw or picnic blanket in the summer.

Four sizes are offered, from 180 x 180 cm up to a 180 x 420 cm that will cover a large L-shaped sofa in one piece. Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle with the fringe kept clear of the drum, line dry, and press on a cool setting if needed. Do not tumble dry or bleach. The largest size is genuinely generous, so it is worth measuring an L-shaped sofa properly rather than assuming two smaller covers will meet neatly at the corner.
