Beno Tripod Floor Lamp

The Beno Tripod Floor Lamp stands 153 cm tall on three slim tapered legs that meet just under a wide drum shade. The shade measures 50 cm across and 25 cm deep, which is broad enough to throw light over a whole seating area rather than a single chair. The tripod takes up almost no floor space at the point where the legs land, so the lamp fits into the corner beside a sofa or an armchair without crowding the furniture around it.

The shade is black textile on the outside and a reflective gold on the inside. That gold lining is what changes the light: instead of the flat white a plain shade gives, the beam picks up a warm amber cast on the way down and lands soft rather than harsh. Switched off, the black drum reads as a quiet block of colour against a pale wall, and the thin black legs keep the whole piece looking light despite its height.

Lockhone supplies the Beno as a plug-in indoor lamp rated IP20, operated by a switch on the cable so no wiring work is needed. One screw-fitting bulb is required and is not included, up to 60 W. Assembly is required and takes a few minutes with no tools beyond fitting the three legs. Delivery takes 8-15 working days.
