Boho Knitted Tassel Sofa Cover

A cover with a bohemian knitted texture and tassels along the ends, which pushes it towards being a large throw rather than a fitted slipcover. That is a useful distinction: it drapes over a sofa loosely, gathers softly at the arms and can just as easily be pulled off and used as a blanket on a cold evening. Rooms with a lot of hard surfaces benefit enormously from one large soft textile like this.

It is reversible, so both faces are finished and you can flip it when one side has taken a week of use. The chenille pile is plush and heavy enough to hang without riding up, and the knitted pattern gives it enough surface interest to look intentional rather than like a sheet. The tassel edging finishes the ends properly, which is usually where a cheap throw gives itself away.

Three sizes are offered: one hundred and eighty by one hundred and eighty centimetres for an armchair or a two seater, by two hundred and sixty for a standard three seater, and by three hundred for a large or corner sofa. Measure across the back before ordering. Machine wash at thirty degrees on a gentle cycle and air dry flat; do not tumble the tassels on high heat, as they will tangle.
