Bolva Antique Brass Barn Wall Light

The Bolva is a gooseneck barn light in an antique brass finish. A round backplate carries a swan neck arm that reaches 24 cm out from the wall and drops a wide metal bowl over the bulb, so light lands where it is wanted instead of spilling back at eye level. The shade measures 24 cm across, which is enough to throw a broad pool of light down a doorway or across a house number.

A warm white LED bulb is included and runs on an E27 screw fitting, so the light works straight out of the box and can still be changed later. Maximum wattage is 7 W, which keeps running costs low for a fitting that tends to stay on all evening. The whole fixture weighs 1 kg and mounts on a 12 cm backplate, so it needs only a modest fixing into sound masonry.
