Boreal LED Pendant Light

A small domed pendant in the plain Scandinavian idiom: a single shade, a slim drop and no visible hardware. It hangs low and close, which makes it a natural fit above a kitchen island, at either end of a dining table, or dropped beside a bed in place of a table lamp. Hung in a row of two or three the effect is rhythmic rather than busy.

Five shade colours are offered - white, pink, yellow, blue and a deep black-blue - and each can be specified with either a warm white or a cool white LED. Warm white suits a dining table or bedroom; cool white is the better choice over a worktop where colour accuracy matters. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to source and nothing to change once it is up.

The shade is compact enough that sightlines across a table are not blocked, which is the usual complaint about larger pendants, and the plain profile means it reads as part of the ceiling rather than as an object hanging from it. Dust with a dry cloth after allowing the fitting to cool. This is a hardwired ceiling fitting: installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician on an isolated circuit, using a fixing rated for the weight of the light.
