Brass Loop LED Wall Light, 45 or 75cm

A single continuous loop of brass rising off the wall, with the light coming from an acrylic diffuser running the length of one side. It is a vertical fitting in a category dominated by horizontal ones, which makes it useful in the places that are hardest to light well: a narrow hallway, the wall beside a staircase, the gap between two doors, a bedroom wall where a bedside table will not fit.

Two heights are offered. The forty-five centimetre version draws nine watts and works at eye level beside a bed or a doorway. The seventy-five centimetre draws eighteen and becomes a genuine feature on a stairwell or a double-height wall, where the length of the loop is what carries the effect. Both are only fourteen centimetres wide and ten deep, so neither projects far enough to be in the way in a tight corridor.

Gold and black are both offered. The gold is the softer of the two and reads warm against pale plaster; the black is graphic and holds its line against a coloured wall. Output is warm white throughout, which suits the places this fitting belongs. It is hardwired, mains voltage, and rated for dry indoor locations only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated first.
