Brass Waterfall Bath Filler Tap

A deck-mounted bath filler with an open waterfall spout, cast in solid brass and finished in polished chrome. The spout is a flat, broad channel rather than a closed tube, so the water arrives as a wide sheet instead of a column. It is quieter than a conventional filler at the same flow, and it fills a bath quickly because the aperture is generous. The effect is the sort of thing usually reserved for hotel bathrooms.

Two lever handles sit either side of the spout for hot and cold, with a ceramic disc cartridge behind each that gives a short, positive quarter turn rather than the vague creep of a worn compression valve. Solid brass is the reason this fitting will still look right in ten years: it does not flex under the weight of the handles, and the chrome is plated onto metal that resists corrosion, scratching and the pitting that ruins zinc alloy fittings.

Overall height is 9.5cm with an 11cm spout reach, and a longer version is offered if your bath rim sits further from the water. Both mount through the deck of the bath or an adjacent surface, so you will need a rim or platform drilled for three holes. Because this is plumbing work on a bath, have it fitted by a qualified plumber and check the flow rate your system can deliver.
