Bubble Fleece Warming Throw

A properly thick winter throw with a raised bubble texture across the surface, which traps a layer of air against the fabric and is why it feels warmer than its weight suggests. This is not an electric blanket and needs no cable, socket or timer - it simply holds the heat you give it, which makes it the thing you reach for on a sofa rather than turning the heating up.

At 100 x 160cm it is generous enough to cover one adult properly on a sofa, and it sits well folded across the end of a bed or over the arm of a reading chair the rest of the time. It weighs 1.9kg, so it drapes with some substance rather than floating off at the first movement, which is exactly what people want from a winter throw and rarely get.

Four colours are offered: khaki, dark grey, soft pink and white. The fleece is finished with an anti-pilling treatment, so the surface should stay smooth through repeated washing instead of going bobbled after a season. Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle and either tumble dry on low or air dry. Keep it away from open flames and heat sources, as with any fleece, and do not use it in place of proper bedding for infants.
