Circular LED Flush Ceiling Light

A single open ring of light fixed flat to the ceiling. The frame is metal with an acrylic diffuser set into it, and the whole fitting is under six centimetres deep, so it lights a room properly without hanging into it. That makes it a sensible answer in a room with a low ceiling, or above a dining table where a pendant would be in the way of the people sitting at it.

Two sizes are offered. The smaller measures fifty by forty-two centimetres and draws thirty-six watts; the larger is sixty-one by fifty-one and draws forty-six. Both come in a gold, black or white frame, and in a warm three thousand kelvin light for living rooms and bedrooms or a brighter five thousand kelvin white for a kitchen, a home office or a hallway that never gets much daylight.

The LED array is built in rather than replaceable, which is what allows the fitting to be this shallow, and the acrylic diffuser spreads the light evenly so you do not see individual bright spots through it. It is a hardwired fitting with no plug or switch of its own and works on a standard ceiling rose. Wipe the diffuser with a dry cloth when the power is off.
