Cloud Comfort Round Bubble Rug 90cm

A round rug does something a rectangle cannot, which is to soften a corner rather than reinforce it. This one is ninety centimetres across with a raised bubble texture worked into the fleece surface, so the pile catches light unevenly and reads as a cloud rather than a flat disc of colour. It is the kind of piece that works beside a bed, under a dressing table stool or in the gap between a reading chair and a window.

The fleece is deep and genuinely soft, the sort of surface you notice with bare feet on a cold morning. Because the texture is built from raised loops rather than printed on, it holds its shape through repeated use instead of flattening into a mat. Three colours are offered: a warm beige that disappears into most schemes, a muted khaki with a green undertone, and a clearer green for rooms that can carry a little more colour.

It is light enough to lift and shake out, which makes it far easier to keep clean than a heavy woven rug, and small enough to move between rooms as the seasons change.
