A slim aluminium column standing 142 centimetres tall, this corner floor lamp is built to light an awkward corner without crowding it. The base measures 40 centimetres across and the whole fitting weighs under a kilogram, so it lifts and repositions easily when a room is rearranged. Black and white housings are both offered, and the matt finish keeps the column reading as architecture rather than as another piece of furniture.
The 20 watt LED is integrated, so there is no lamp to buy and none to replace. Three light modes are available. The dimmable warm and cool white version gives 1800 lumens for reading; the RGB version gives 2200 lumens of colour; the combined version does both. Every mode is controlled from the supplied remote, which adjusts brightness and colour without reaching behind the column.
The lamp runs on 100-240 volts through a one metre cable and is rated for dry indoor locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms and away from anywhere it could be splashed. Stand it on a level, solid floor where the cable will not be walked across. Wipe the aluminium with a dry or barely damp cloth, never a solvent, and let it cool before handling.
