Crystal Halo LED Ceiling Light 50cm

A fifty centimetre ring of cut acrylic set into an iron frame, only six centimetres deep, so it reads as a halo pressed against the ceiling rather than a chandelier hanging from it. Lit, the cut faces break the light into points around the edge while the centre stays soft and even. It is a decorative fitting that still does the job of lighting a whole room, which is a harder balance than it sounds.

The remote is what makes it liveable. Brightness runs steplessly from a low glow up to full, and the colour tone shifts between warm, neutral and cold white without anyone getting up. That means one fitting covers a dining room that needs to be bright at six and dim at nine, or a bedroom where you want cold light to get dressed by and warm light to read by an hour later.

Black, gold and white finishes are offered. Black is the graphic choice against a white ceiling, gold works with brass and warm timber, and white almost disappears until it is lit. The LED is integrated, so there is no lamp to change, and the shallow depth suits a low ceiling. This is a hardwired fitting rated for dry indoor locations and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
