Crystal Halo Table Lamp 22cm

Faceted crystal set into a polished stainless steel frame gives this small lamp a lot of sparkle for its size. The crystals catch the light from the LED behind them and scatter it across the surface the lamp sits on, so it behaves as much like an ornament as a light source. At twenty centimetres across and twenty-two tall it fits on a narrow console, a dressing table or the corner of a wide bookshelf.

Two forms are offered. The circle is the more restrained of the pair and reads as a halo or a ring when it is lit, which suits a hallway or a living room. The heart is unmistakably decorative and tends to end up in a bedroom or a child's room, though it is made to the same standard as the circle rather than being a novelty version of it. Both use the same base and frame.

Light tone is a separate choice. Warm light softens the crystal and gives a candle-like effect in the evening, while white light makes the facets look sharper and colder, closer to cut glass. The lamp runs on one hundred and ten to two hundred and forty volts and lights an area of roughly five to ten square metres. Dust the crystals with a soft brush; a wet cloth will leave streaks between the facets.
