Darlo Matte Black Cylinder Pendant Light

The Darlo is a slim, straight-sided cylinder pendant in a matte black metal finish, delivering a focused beam of light downwards from its warm-toned aperture. The minimal form suits contemporary and industrial interiors where clean lines and contrast matter, and the tube reads as a plain dark shape against a pale ceiling. Nothing about the fitting is decorative: the light it casts and the line it draws in the room are the whole of it.

A built-in LED light source is included, so no replacement bulb is required over the life of the fitting. Two cylinder lengths are offered at 30cm and 40cm, along with three colour temperatures in cool white, warm white and natural daylight, allowing a precise match to the room and to any existing fittings around it. The pendant is suspended on a 100cm adjustable cord, so the drop can be set to the height of the surface it is lighting.

A single Darlo makes a striking statement over a kitchen island, a desk or a dining table, while clusters of two or three at staggered or matched drops create a layered, architectural effect. Because the beam is focused rather than spread, hang it close enough to the surface to define it and expect a defined pool rather than general room light. The fitting is hardwired and a qualified electrician is recommended for installation. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor environments.
