Delvec Amber Acrylic Swing Arm Pendant Lamp

The Delvec combines a high-gloss amber acrylic dome shade with a hand-turned walnut wood finial and a black powder-coated steel arm. The arm extends and pivots from a ceiling-flush canopy, so the shade can be moved laterally across the room and set over the spot that needs it. Warm amber light diffuses through the semi-translucent dome, concentrating a glow beneath the shade rather than spreading it thinly.

The silhouette suits mid-century modern, Japandi and warm contemporary rooms. The cord runs 150cm (59 inches) from canopy to shade as supplied and can be adjusted to the height you want. One socket accepts up to a 40W incandescent bulb or the LED equivalent, in a screw fitting supplied to suit the destination: E27 (ES) on UK orders, E26 on US orders. The fitting is compatible with dimmer switches.

The reach of the arm makes it useful over a dining table, a sofa corner or a reading chair, particularly where the ceiling rose is not where the light is needed. Set the canopy position with the swing of the arm in mind so it clears shelving and doorways. The lamp is hardwired for permanent ceiling installation and requires an electrician for fitting. Wipe the gloss acrylic with a dry soft cloth to avoid scratching the surface.
