A slim linear wall light 60 centimetres long, built from a wrought iron channel with a frosted acrylic diffuser running its full length. Mounted horizontally above a sideboard or vertically beside a mirror, it gives an even band of light with no visible dots or hot spots, which is what makes a fitting like this useful for a hallway or a bedside where a downward pool of light would be wrong.
The light source is a 12 watt integrated LED at 3000 kelvin, a warm white that sits comfortably in a living room rather than reading as office lighting. It comes with stepless remote dimming, so the level can be taken right down without steps or flicker, and the supply range is 85 to 265 volts. The diffuser hides the LED strip completely from every viewing angle.
Three finishes are offered, in white, black and brushed gold, and the body is shallow enough to sit close to the wall without projecting into a corridor. The rating is IP20, so this is an indoor fitting only and must not be used in a bathroom zone or outdoors. It is hard wired and should be installed by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit.
