The Eldo Green Glass Ceiling Light hangs a wide, ribbed glass globe from a short brass stem, close enough to the ceiling to work in rooms where a long pendant drop would be in the way. The glass is moulded into soft vertical lobes that swell out around the middle and draw back in at the base, giving the shade the outline of a paper lantern rather than a plain sphere. It measures 38 cm across and 32 cm from the ceiling plate down to the tip of the finial.

Green is what carries the piece. Unlit the glass reads as a deep sage that picks up a long reflection down each lobe, and lit the colour warms and the ribs stand out as brighter lines through the shade. The ceiling plate and the matching finial underneath are both patterned rather than plain, in a gold finish that places the fitting closer to a period hallway light than a modern one.

Lockhone supplies the Eldo as a hardwired indoor semi flush mount in a metal and glass build with a metal canopy, running on 110V to 240V and taking one screw fitting bulb up to 40W. It works with a dimmer switch bought separately, and is damp rated for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas. Fitting by a qualified electrician is recommended. Delivery takes 8-15 working days.
