Eldra Black Metal Disc Wall Light

The Eldra pairs two slim linear bars with a round wall plate, set slightly off-axis so the fitting reads as a simple piece of line-work on the wall. Switched on, both bars cast an even wash up and down the surface, giving a soft glow with no shade and no visible bulb in sight. Switched off, it holds its shape as a graphic detail rather than disappearing into the wall.

The build is metal with a silica diffuser, and the two LED strips are included with the fitting. Warm light, cold light and dimmable options let the mood be set anywhere from bright and practical to low and quiet. It runs across 110V-240V and is rated IP20, which is an indoor rating. The finish is black throughout, plate and bars alike, so it holds a line against a pale wall.

It suits a bedside, a hallway or a landing, and works in living rooms and bedrooms of roughly 15 to 20 square metres. A pair either side of a bed gives balanced light without taking up any surface space. The fitting hardwires in place, so a qualified electrician should wire it in and the cable route is worth planning first. Wipe the metal with a dry cloth and dust the diffuser occasionally.
