Embroidered Daisy Cotton Tablecloth

Soft cotton in a cream hue, embroidered with small daisies and finished with a hanging fringe along the edge. The embroidery is worked into the cloth rather than printed on top of it, so the flowers keep their texture after washing and the cloth drapes over a table edge instead of standing away from it. Seven sizes are offered, from a small square to a full dining length.

The 60 and 90 centimetre squares suit a side table, a console or a round bistro table. The 140 centimetre square covers a four-seat dining table, while the rectangular sizes from 110 by 170 up to 140 by 220 centimetres are cut for six and eight seat tables with enough overhang to look deliberate. Pick one size up if you prefer a longer drop at the ends.

Cotton of this weight creases, which is part of how a linen-look cloth reads, but it presses out easily on a warm iron. Wash cool and separately the first time, since a cream ground can pick up colour from a darker load. No stain-resistant or wipe-clean coating is applied to this cloth, so deal with any spills promptly rather than relying on a coating to hold them off the fibres.
