Feryn Open Frame Aluminium Path Light

The Feryn is a path post light built as an open frame rather than a solid column. Four slim uprights carry a capped head, and the LEDs sit inside that head and fire straight down through the middle of the frame. The result is a pool of light on the ground with almost no glare at eye level, so steps and path edges stay visible without dazzling anyone walking towards it.

The whole body is die-cast aluminium in an anthracite finish, with no plastic diffuser panels to yellow or cloud over time. The IP65 rating is the highest in this range, sealing the fitting against dust and against water jets from any direction, which makes it suitable for exposed positions away from the shelter of a house. An 11 W LED load produces 1,100 lumens at 3000 K warm white.

At 80 cm tall on a 15 cm square base, the Feryn sits at a useful height for lighting a route without blocking a view across a garden. It works along a front path, beside a set of garden steps or at the turn of a drive, and a run of several reads better than a single post on its own. Wire it in before paving or planting is finished, and rinse the frame occasionally to clear grit.
