Fleece Duvet Cover Set 150 x 200cm

Fleece bedding is for the part of the year when cotton feels cold to climb into. This set is fleece on both faces of the duvet cover, so there is no thin lining side, and it traps a layer of warm air against the duvet the moment the bed is made. In practice that means a warmer bed at a lower heating setting.

The set covers a 150 by 200cm duvet and includes two matching pillowcases. Eight colours are offered, from dark grey, grey and beige at the quiet end through pink, red, purple and dark blue to a bright turquoise. The colour holds well through washing, and the surface keeps its softness rather than going hard and pilled after a few cycles.

It also works on a spare bed, in a caravan or a holiday cottage, and on a sofa as an over-blanket in the evening. Machine wash at a low temperature and tumble dry on low; avoid fabric conditioner, which coats the fibres and reduces the loft. For safer sleep, babies under twelve months should not sleep with a duvet, pillow or loose bedding of any kind. Fleece can build a static charge in very dry air, which a low tumble setting and no conditioner will help reduce.
