Folding Bar LED Desk Lamp

A slim aluminium bar on a hinged arm that folds down almost flat when it is not needed. Open, it stands about 34.8cm tall and reaches roughly 28.7cm across the desk, putting a long, even line of light over a keyboard or a book rather than the hard circle a conical shade throws. Closed, it takes up barely more room than a paperback on the corner of a desk.

Three versions are offered. The simplest gives three-level dimming from a touch strip on the base. The second adds colour-change modes and a timer for evening use. The third builds in a 5W wireless charging pad on the base, so a phone sits and tops up while you work. All draw 5 to 8 watts and put out roughly 500 to 800 lumens, which is generous for a desk of this size.

The finish is a fine-grained silver or a flat black, both of which sit quietly on a wooden desk or a painted shelf. It is a genuinely useful lamp for a home office, a study corner, a bedside table or a student desk. Supplied for 220-240V mains via its adapter; if the fitted plug is not a UK three-pin type, have a UK plug fitted or use a UK-approved adapter. The integrated LED is not user-replaceable.
