Fono Rattan Cone Pendant Light

The Fono hangs a wide cone shade hand-woven from natural rattan fibres over a dark walnut-toned metal frame. Light from the single bulb filters through the weave and throws a layered pattern across the ceiling and the walls around it, so the fitting does as much for the surfaces near it as for the surface below. A solid wood cap at the top of the shade anchors the design and connects to the adjustable black cord.

The pendant runs on a wide 110 to 240V voltage range and arrives with an LED bulb included, in a screw fitting supplied to suit the destination: E27 (ES) on UK orders, E26 on US orders. It is rated IP20, which means indoor use only. The cord is adjustable, so the drop can be set once the fitting is in place.

The warm texture suits living rooms, dining areas, restaurants and hotel spaces equally, and it works over a dining table, a kitchen island or a reading corner. Grouped in twos or threes at staggered heights, the Fono makes more of a statement in a larger room or a commercial setting. Installation is hardwired and assembly is required, so allow time on the day and have a qualified electrician make the connection. Dust the weave with a soft brush.
