Freestanding Bath Filler 113cm

The tap a freestanding bath actually needs. It rises 113cm from the floor on a single slim column, arcs over the rim and delivers water from a spout that reaches 24cm in, so it fills near the centre of the tub rather than dribbling down the inside wall. Because it is floor mounted, the bath itself needs no drilling, which is what makes a true centre-of-the-room bath possible in the first place.

The body is copper alloy throughout, including the spout and the coating, with a metal alloy lever handle and a stainless steel hose. That matters at this height: a tall column is a lever, and a thin-walled fitting will develop a wobble at the floor flange within a year. Copper alloy stays rigid, resists corrosion in standing humidity, and holds its finish against the constant wetting a bath filler gets. Two finishes are offered, silver and black.

A single lever handle controls flow and temperature, the spout swivels so it can be turned aside when the bath is not in use, and a valve and hose are supplied. Installation means running pipework up through the floor to a fixed position, so this is a decision to make before the floor goes down, not after. Have it fitted by a qualified plumber, and confirm your hot supply can fill a bath of that size.
