Gold Leaf Metal Wall Art

Cut and formed metal in a gold finish, with a leaf motif worked across the surface so the piece catches light at different angles as you move past it. Metal wall art has an advantage over a framed print that is easy to overlook: it has genuine relief, so it throws its own shadow onto the wall and changes through the day as the light in the room moves.

Alternatively there is a set of three round pieces at 24 centimetres each, which is the option for a stair wall or a hallway where a vertical run of small pieces reads better than one large panel.

At around a kilogram the rectangular pieces are light enough to go up on standard picture fixings rather than needing a wall plug into masonry, which makes them a practical choice for a rented flat or a plasterboard wall. Hang the round set with roughly 15 centimetres between pieces. Dust with a dry soft cloth. Avoid household cleaners and abrasive pads, which will dull the gold finish permanently.
