Gripo Anti-Slip Rug Grippers Set of 4

A rug looks its best lying flat. Gripo is a set of four L-shaped corner pads that sit at each corner of a rug and hold it in place, so the edges stop curling upwards and the rug stops travelling across the floor as people walk over it. It is a small, quiet fix for the one thing that undoes an otherwise considered room, and it costs nothing in the way of appearance.

Each gripper measures 12.3 x 12.3 cm and follows the right angle of a rug corner, with two equal arms that tuck under the edge and stay out of sight once the rug is laid back down. The pack contains four, one for every corner of a standard rectangular rug or runner. One face carries a printed 'on floor' marking, which tells you at a glance which side meets the floor.

Fitting takes a moment. Wipe the area of floor clean and dry, peel back the white release liner, press the gripper onto the underside of the rug corner, then lift away the sheet marked 'on floor' and smooth the rug down. They are intended for hard floors such as boards, tile and laminate rather than carpet, and they hold best on a surface that is free of dust and polish.
