Heart Wire Photo Display 50cm

A heart worked in fine metal wire with an open grid inside it, made for pegging photographs, postcards, tickets and prints to. The advantage over a frame is that nothing is committed: the display changes as often as you want it to, and a print that would look thin on its own works as part of a cluster. The heart outline gives the arrangement a shape to fill.

At 50 centimetres square it holds a dozen or more small prints comfortably, or four or five postcard-sized pictures with space around them. It suits a bedroom wall, a stair return, a desk nook or a teenager's room, and it is equally at home carrying dried flowers, fairy lights or a string of cards at Christmas. Pegs are the usual way to attach things; small clips or bulldog clips also work.

Three colours are offered. Black gives the strongest graphic line and works best on a pale wall. White nearly disappears and puts all the attention on what is hanging from it. Pink is the softest of the three. The whole thing weighs 350 grams, which means it goes up on ordinary picture hooks or adhesive strips rather than needing wall plugs - useful in a rental. Dust with a dry cloth.
