Hesso Gold Mesh Globe Pendant Light

The Hesso pairs a clear glass globe with a perforated brass-toned mesh cylinder suspended inside it. The mesh is the whole idea: light passes through several hundred small openings before it reaches the glass, so the globe fills with a soft dappled glow instead of one hard bright point. The clear shade keeps the fitting visually light rather than turning it into a solid block overhead.

The globe measures 20cm across and 18cm tall on a 21cm brass rod, with up to 1.5m of adjustable suspension from a 10cm ceiling plate. Warm light and a gold finish sit comfortably against timber, stone and darker paint colours. Because the shade is clear rather than opaque, the mesh does the diffusing, and the fitting stays small enough to hang in a run of two or three without the ceiling feeling busy.

That transparency matters over a kitchen island or a dining table, where a solid shade would block the sightline across the room, and a single Hesso works equally well in a hallway or beside a bed. Set the drop so the globe sits clear of a standing head and level with the others in a run.
