Honeycomb Jacquard Duvet Set

Jacquard weaving builds the pattern into the cloth rather than printing it on top, which is why a jacquard bed looks expensive from the doorway. The honeycomb geometry here is woven at a small repeat with a fine gold thread running through it, so the surface shifts as you move around the bed - matte from one angle, faintly lit from another - without ever becoming shiny.

The six colourways are all deep rather than pastel. Midnight Sapphire and Emerald Mist are the coolest and the easiest to build a room around; Crimson Bloom and Rose Ember are warmer and considerably bolder; Charcoal Goldstone is the quietest of the set and Violet Nova the most unusual. Each set comes as three pieces - a duvet cover and two pillowcases - in double or king.

The weave is dense enough to hang with weight rather than floating, and the cover has internal ties at the corners. Wash warm on a gentle cycle and tumble on low; the metallic thread will dull under high heat and should never be ironed directly. Wash separately for the first cycle.
