Indro Matte Black Multi-Arm Ceiling Light

The Indro sits flush against the ceiling rather than hanging from it. A small round plate carries four slim arms, each bent into a long flat loop that runs parallel to the plaster before turning down into a plain cylindrical lamp holder. The result is a wide, low fitting that fills a ceiling visually without dropping into head height. Switched off it reads as a piece of black linework; switched on, four separate points of warm light spread across the room.

The whole piece is metal, finished in matte black, and measures 60cm across. Four E27 bulbs are included, so the fitting works from the moment it is wired in. The frame is open, with nothing enclosing the lamps, so none of the output is blocked or tinted. Because the light comes from four points rather than one central shade, it falls more evenly across a floor and leaves fewer dark corners than a single pendant would.

A 60cm span suits a room of roughly five to ten square metres, and the flush profile makes the Indro a sensible main light where ceiling height rules out anything hanging: bedrooms, hallways, landings and low living rooms. It is a hardwired fitting, so a qualified electrician should carry out the installation. Once up, the open frame is easy to keep clean with a dry cloth, and the matte black finish does not show fingerprints the way a polished one would.
