Isven Travertine Dome Flush Ceiling Light

The Isven is cut from natural travertine, so every piece carries a different pattern of open pores and fine seams across the surface. The stone half dome sits under a short wood canopy in a warm walnut tone, with an opal glass globe held inside the hollow of the stone. It is a small, low fitting, and the material does most of the work.

Travertine is dense and diffuses nothing, so all of the light escapes through the glass below and reflects off the pale stone rim. That gives a low, warm wash rather than a bright ceiling flood. The fitting measures 15 cm across and 9.5 cm deep, which keeps it close to the ceiling and clear of a low doorway. Surface holes and hairline cracks are part of the quarried stone and do not affect how it performs.

That soft output suits a hallway, a landing or a bedroom where a glaring fitting would be too much, and a pair or a run of three spaced along a corridor gives more even coverage than one on its own. Plan the spacing before wiring, since each fitting needs its own ceiling point. The light is hardwired, so a qualified electrician should install it. Dust the stone with a dry soft cloth.
