Jorven Round Alabaster Ceiling Light

The Jorven brings a timeless material to a modern ceiling. Each disc is assembled from hand-selected natural alabaster stones, set flush within a subtly ribbed metal frame, with an antique brass centre fixing completing the composition without interrupting the stone surface. Lit, the panel shows the veining and the translucency of the stone as a layered warm glow that shifts gently across the ceiling and down into the room below.

The light source is an integrated LED with the driver built in, so there is no separate bulb to buy and nothing to replace. The voltage range is 110 to 240V. At 40cm in diameter the disc suits rooms of roughly five to ten square metres where a single light source is preferred, and the warm white output holds a consistent colour from the moment it is switched on.

The flush-mount profile keeps the ceiling clean, which makes it a good fit for a dining room, a bedroom or a living space with limited height. Because the alabaster is natural, the veining differs from piece to piece and the fitting delivered will not match a photograph exactly. Installation is a hardwired connection at the ceiling and should be made by a qualified electrician. Dust the stone with a dry soft cloth and avoid wet cleaning.
