Juna Glass Globe Pendant Light

Juna is a hand finished glass sphere that hangs like a single drop from the ceiling. The silhouette is plain, which is what lets it sit with modern, Scandinavian and mid century rooms in equal measure, and the glass is worth looking at whether the lamp is lit or not. Warm light through tinted glass comes out soft and candle like, so a room in the evening feels layered rather than flatly lit.

Three diameters are made, at 15 cm, 20 cm and 25 cm, in either clear or amber glass. Clear keeps the lamp visible and the light crisp, while amber warms the output and softens the source. The pendant takes a standard E27 socket and a warm white bulb is recommended, though no bulb is supplied with it. A ceiling rose and cable are included with every fitting.

One larger globe works as a single drop over a bedside table or in a hallway, while a group of three at staggered heights covers a kitchen island or a dining table well. The fitting is for indoor use only. Hang it high enough to clear heads at a worktop and low enough to be useful over a table, and have the ceiling connection made by a qualified electrician. Wipe the glass with a dry cloth.
