Kavro Brushed Gold Ribbon Pendant Light

The Kavro runs a single ribbon of brushed gold metal across 120cm and lets it fold into a slow S curve along the way. Seen straight on it reads as a fine horizontal line; from an angle the twist opens up and the fixture turns sculptural. There are no visible joints or fixings along its length, so the eye follows one continuous band from end to end without interruption.

Light comes from a silicone LED channel set into the underside of the ribbon, which spreads an even glow rather than a row of visible dots. Three colour temperatures are selectable at the wall switch, so the same fixture can sit cool and neutral for working at a kitchen island and drop to a warm tone for evening meals. The LED is integrated and supplied fitted, with no bulbs to buy.

A 120cm horizontal fixture is built for a long dining table, a kitchen island or a hallway console, where it balances the length of the surface below rather than marking a single point above it. The suspension cables adjust, so the height can be set once the table position is settled. Brushed gold holds fingerprints less readily than a polished finish, and a dry cloth along the ribbon is all it asks for.
